Above is my data set of annual income from various professions throughout New England. I obtained this data by asking ChatGPT “Create a data table for excel on annual income for different professions throughout the New England states.” For the functions below, I focused on the question of: What is the annual income by Profession in each New England State?

Max Function

For the max function, I asked which state pays Accountants the most annually. This ended up being Massachusetts.



Filter Function

Using the filter function I filtered through all of the incomes throughout New Hampshire to get the ones that are above $60,000.

XLOOKUP Function

For XLOOKUP, I connected this to the max function to answer the same question, with Massachusetts as the answer.



Pivot Table

For my pivot table, I looked at the total amount of income by these professions in each state. I discovered Massachusetts had the greatest grand total.

This is my pivot table discussed above along with a bar graph I created from my data of income amount by profession in each state.
